What Matters Technically
This unit runs on a carbon-fiber infrared element, so it delivers radiant heat straight to people and surfaces, not the surrounding air. You feel warmth almost instantly, and it doesn’t need long run cycles to make the whole cabin feel warm. In a 12V RV setup, it pulls a modest 150–200W, so it plays nice with smaller inverters and battery banks. We kept sound down by ditching the loud fan and relying on natural convection. This heater is built for enclosed spaces like RVs, and it works best when positioned to gently bathe the sleeping area in warmth. It needs a stable 12V supply, so size your wiring and fusing to match the unit’s current draw. Heat comes on fast, but coverage is line-of-sight—keep it oriented toward the bed or seating area.
