On a glass deep-processing line, perfume bottle drying isn’t some delicate side step—it’s a thermal bottleneck. Coatings, silk screens, and bonded parts need fast, even heat without cooking thin, curved glass and creating thermal stress. When the heat drifts or the thermal field is uneven, you start seeing micro-cracks, bubbles, and adhesion failures that only show up after packing. We built our perfume bottle drying lamp to take that variability out of the equation. What matters under the hood We run near-infrared (NIR) quartz heating elements because they deliver directional energy fast, with very little convection. The lamp output is tuned for glass processing lines—tight spectral profile that hits the coating and adhesive layers without overheating the bulk of the glass. Output stays stable cycle after cycle, and the quartz envelope can take repeated thermal shock in 24/7 production. You get standard voltage and length options, with industrial connectors so it drops straight into existing drying modules. Why it fits the line In perfume bottle finishing, throughput and quality live and die on temperature control. NIR heats quickly, so drying keeps pace with line speed instead of fighting it. The focused thermal field cuts down on overheating at edges and seams, which drops scrap from thermal stress fractures. Energy use falls because heat is delivered on demand, not wasted in warm air. When you’re prepping for EVA, SGP, or PVB bonding, consistent surface temperature gives you cleaner edge definition and stronger bonds. On insulating glass sealing lines, that same control reduces rejects from trapped moisture. The practical details NIR drying is line-of-sight. Reflections off polished fixtures and the spacing between bottles can create hot and cold spots. Mounting distance needs to be set and locked, and you should check lamp alignment during changeovers. The lamp body runs hot, so shielding and clearance are non-negotiable. It’s a drop-in replacement for many OEM drying modules, but confirm the mounting footprint and power interface before you order.
